　　1. Deal with Task 4 in Before class

　　2. Read the text again, find out the sentences and analyse them.

　　1) Later in the next century, people from England made voyages to conquer other parts of the world and because of that, English began to be spoken in many other counties.

　　【設計意圖】根據文章填空旨在讓學生熟悉文章，加深對故事內容的理解，練習口頭表達能力；在學生理解了文章的主旨大意，把握了文章的相關細節信息，并進行了深入理解后，再對信息進行再整合，根據自己對文章的理解概括全文的主要內容。而通過discussion給學生提出了兩個開放性的問題，給學生提供了一個開放討論的空間，更是進一步加深了學生對文章主旨的深入體會，既實現了有語言輸入到語言輸出的跨越，又讓學生在角色扮演中深刻了解學好英語的重要性；從而實現了本節課的情感態度目標。
