　　1、意為“拉開距離”，短語：keep your distance from sb./sth.與…保持距離

　　例：I retreated an one step and drew back distance with her.我后退了一步跟她拉開距離。

　　2、意為“與…疏遠”。短語：keep sb.at a distance同…疏遠;與…保持一定距離

　　例：There were periods of sulking,of pronounced distance,of coldness.

　　by distance按里程

　　within a stone's throw distance近處

　　the distance between…之間的距離
